In today’s episode, I speak to our special guest Malusi Mbonani . Malusi is a specialist within the Human Resources space, who shared some of his wisdom on office politics. Politics within an organisation are a system that one needs to learn and understand. Politics are not just "dirty" or unethical, one is able to participate in organizational politics ethically, without sacrificing their core values. We delved deeper into explaining power dynamics, the difference between influence and power and why it is important to partake in office politics otherwise, office politics will “do you”.
